Should I purchase a pre-made design or design my own?
We work with talented Malagasy Artisans who can recreate from photos and dimensions provided. We have a variety of pre-made designs on the website and may be tailored to align with your taste. Make sure to share your vision with us and we will let you know of the similar designs we have to help you choose the RIGHT color, size, and style. If designing your own, we are able to match any color of your choice to your home furniture.
When can I expect to receive my custom build?
The amount of time to finish a piece varies depending on the weather, the complexity of the piece, or the previous orders. The typical turn-around is approximately 2 weeks, but it may take longer during busy season. In this case, custom builds may take up to 3 weeks. Every piece is different, so make sure to send us your design and we will contact you once it is finished and ready for shipping in a timely manner without compromising quality. How can we get samples and how do we order?
The women we work with dye and dry the raffia and sisal fibers upon receipt of order custom to each project. For now, samples may be ordered at material cost + shipping. Please send us an email with your order including size, shape, pattern, style, and colors at Jessica@raffiamadagascar.org.
